Paul Mackintosh Foot (born November 8, 1937) is a British radical investigative journalist and long time member of the Socialist Workers Party. He first joined the International Socialists, organisational forerunner of the SWP, when he was a cub reporter in Glasgow in the early 1960s. He regularly wrote for the Daily Mirror for many years and is associated with Private Eye; he also currently (2004) writes for The Guardian. He fought the Birmingham Ladywood byelection in 1977 for the Socialist Workers Party and has been a Socialist Alliance candidate for several offices from 2001 onwards.

Paul Foot is son of Hugh Foot who represented the United Kingdom at the United Nations from 1964-1970 and the nephew of former leader of the Labour Party Michael Foot.
