Ogre (game)

Ogre was first released in 1977, as the first Metagaming Microgame by Steve Jackson. It is an asymmetric wargame set in the late 21st century in which a single giant tank tries to destroy a headquarters defended by a mixture of armored units, ground effect vehicles, infantry, and howitzers.

Ogre spawned a sequel, G.E.V., focusing on the ground effect vehicle.
