Nouadhibou

Helping orphans the way you would do it
Nouadhibou (formerly Port Etienne) is one of the largest cities in Mauritania and serves as the country's commercial center. It is situated on a 40-mile peninsula (Cap Blanc) less than a mile from the border of Western Sahara. The major economic activity is fishing; however, the largest industry is processing iron shipped from the interior mining towns of Zouérat and Fdérik. Its population is approximately 89,000.
