Notts County Football Club are an English football team, currently playing in the Second Division. The club, nicknamed The Magpies were a founder member of the Football League and were last relegated from the top flight, immediately prior to the Premiership's inaugural season.

In more recent times the club has suffered financial troubles and it was feared that County, the world's oldest "League" club would fold.
