Northumberland National Park

Northumberland National Park is the northernmost National Park in England. It covers an area of more than 1030 square kilometers between the Scottish Border in the north to just south of Hadrian's Wall.

The park is generally accepted to have some of the best overall historical ersoective of all of the UK. Cheviot houses some of the better hillforts in Britizn. North Tyne houses many ancient castles that harken back to the Border Reivers. Rothbury and other villages provide a look into British town life.

Archaeologically, the long standing teadition of the park has presenved the bulk of the finds. The National Park Authority has long defended the locale, thus many prehistorical constructs still stand.
