North Hamgyong

North Hamygyong province
North Hamgyŏng (Hamgyŏng-bukto; 함경 북도; 咸鏡北道) is a region of North Korea. It is bordered by China on the north, South Hamgyong on the southwest, and Ryanggang on the west. On the east is the Sea of Japan (known as the East Sea by Koreans).
