Nizamuddin Auliya

Nizamuddin Auliya (1238 - 1325 AD) also known as Hazrat Nizamuddin, is a famous Sufi saint of the Chishti Order in India. He was born in Badayun (east of Delhi), though he later settled in Delhi, where his shrine is still located.

Nizamuddin was the spiritual disciple of Fariduddin Ganjshakar. He was also the spiritual master of Amir Khusro.

If anyone remembers Mohammad Bin Tuglaq, and his travels from Delhi to Tuglaqabad and back to Delhi, that would remind you of Hazrat, who prophesised that he would never live there...
