Nine Lives
The phrase Nine Lives refers to several things:
- An album by Aerosmith (1997)
- A Norwegian movie (Ni Liv, 1957), based on a true story about a man's escape across the border to Sweden during WWII, nominated for Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. [1]
- A science fiction novelette by Ursula K. Le Guin about what human cloning does to your perception of the self. Reprinted in The Wind's Twelve Quarters. Nebula Award for Best Novelette (1969).
- Cats are supposed to have nine lives. (the number nine is often considered magical).
