Neris

Neris (Lithuanian name; within the territory of Belarus it is called Viliya, Vilia; Wilia in Polish language) is a river rising in Belarus, crossing Vilnius (Lithuania) and flowing into Neman in Kaunas (Lithuania). The length is 510 km.

Neris connects old Lithuanian capitals - Kernave and Vilnius. It's banks were burial places of the pagan lithuanians. 25 km from Vilnius there are old burial mounds of Karamzynai. There are many mythologic stones, a holy oak-wood.
