National University of Ireland, Cork
The National University of Ireland, Cork or University College Cork (UCC) is a constituent university of the National University of Ireland. It is located in Cork City, the second largest city in the Republic of Ireland. The college was founded in the 1840s under the original name of Queen's College, Cork. Student numbers have increased greatly since the late 1980s, necessitating the expansion of the campus by the acquisition adjacent buildings and lands. However the Boole Library has not expanded in line with the rest of the College. It's lack of space and queues are legendary in the College.
