National Centre for Popular Music
The National Centre for Popular Music is a museum in Sheffield, England for contemporary music and culture that was built largely with contributions from the National Lottery. The building consists of four giant stainless steel drums whose tops rotate in the wind. Due to its unique construction; Sheffield residents appropriately nicknamed it The Four Tops (after the Motown band of the same name).
The NCPM is currently closed due to lack of visitors, but Sheffield Hallam University recently agreed to a deal to use the building as their student union.
