National Catholic Forensic League

The National Catholic Forensic League (NCFL) was formed in 1953. It is organized into regions which coorespond to Roman Catholic diocese. Member schools include both public and parochial high schools. The NCFL recruits member schools in both the United States and Canada. As of January 2003, there were 65 active diocese with chapters of NCFL.

NCFL offers an array of events similar but not identical to the National Forensic League. Specifically, NCFL adds Oratorical Declamation (reading aloud a famous speech) as a national event not competed by the NFL.
