Nathaniel Mayer Victor Rothschild, 3rd Baron Rothschild

Victor Rothschild (October 31, 1910- March 20, 1990), more fully (Nathaniel Mayer) Victor de Rothschild, 3rd Baron Rothschild, 4th Baronet, was a scientist and a member of the prominent Rothschild family.

Rothschild was recruited to work for MI5 during the World War II. After the war, he continued to work in security issues, namely as a security adviser to Margaret Thatcher.

In 1933, he married Barbara Judith Hutchinson (born 1911) with whom he had the following children:

1. Sarah (born 1934)
2. Nathaniel Charles Jacob Rothschild, 4th Baron Rothschild (born 1936)
3. Miranda (born 1940)

In 1946, he married Teresa Georgina Mayor. They had four children:

1. Emma Georgina (born 1948)
2. Benjamin Mayer (born 1952)
3. Victoria Katherine (born 1953)
4. Amschel Mayer James (1955-1996)
