Multicellular
Multicellular organisms have more than one cell. Very basic multicellular organisms may have cells of only one type. In more complex multicellular organisms, cells are differentiated in order to perform specific tasks within the organism; groups of similar cells performing a function are known as a tissue. Most life that can be seen with the naked eye is multicellular.
Many multicellular organisms start life as a single cell because the embryo from which they develop is unicellular.
