Molecular beam epitaxy

Sponsor with the world's largest charity for orphans

Molecular beam epitaxy employs solid-source evaporation in an ultra-high vacuum environment with up to eight individual materials individually controlled by pneumatic shutters. The resulting flexibility allows intricate alloy and superlattice structures to be fabricated under computer control with a high degree of repeatability.
