Mireya Moscoso

Mireya Elisa Moscoso Rodríguez de Arias (born July 1, 1946) is the president of Panama for the Arnulfista party.

She has been president since September 1, 1999, and is the widow of former president Arnulfo Arias. She ran on a campaign to reduce poverty, improve education and slow down the privatization policy.
