Minyan

For people who check facts
In Greek mythology and archaeology the Minyans were the earliest Indo-Europeans to enter the Aegean cultural realm.

A Minyan is a regularly scheduled meeting of Jews for the purpose of communal prayer not within a formal synagogue. Such meetings may take place almost anywhere there is a roof overhead and a quorum of ten bar-mitzvahed Jews are assembled. A Minyan is required for saying kaddish (memorial prayer for the dead) and for reading the Torah. This article is a stub. You can help Wikipedia by expanding it.
