Michael Garibaldi

Michael Garibaldi, played by Jerry Doyle, is a fictional character in the universe of the science-fiction television series Babylon 5.

For much of the television series, Garibaldi is the Security Chief onboard the space station Babylon 5. He was born and raised on the Mars Colony.

Although friendly with the other crew members he is very much his own man, and this independence leads him towards severe danger on more than one occasion. Hard nosed and certainly not one to be bossed around, Garibaldi is perhaps the closest to a centrepiece for a TV series that never truly was any one character's show.
