Meiou Setsuna

Meiou Setsuna (冥王せつな), or Sailor Pluto, is a character in the anime Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon. She is the oldest and the most mature of the Senshi. Her eternal duty is to guard the gates of time. Given the ease on which evil forces travel through time, she doesn't seem too good at her job. Sailor Pluto wasn't introduced until late in the Sailor Moon R series.

Sailor Pluto was the Senshi that ChibiUsa (Sailor Chibi-Moon) contacted through the Luna Sphere (the floating spherical device that looks like a cat's head, that is seen following her all the time). Sailor Pluto was very fond of ChibiUsa, and referred to her as "Small Lady."

Even though Sailor Pluto appears in just a few TV episodes, observations show that she really has only one true attack - "Dead Scream" (In the English dub it is known as "Pluto Deadly Scream", and it is yelled out, whereas in the original version, the command is whispered). With her talisman, she spins around halfway to her left and then spins back around to face forward saying those words. A purple sphere emerges from her staff and and usually flies off to the right side of the screen.

Sailor Pluto did, However, use her "Forbidden" attack near the end of the Sailor Moon S TV series. While Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus are in the front compartment of a helicopter going to the "Mugen Gakuen" establishment, the demons that have surrounded the school attack the helicopter, immobilizing its rotors. As the helicopter was almost about to explode, Sailor Pluto used her time stopping magic to save the other passengers. Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune somehow teleported into the school, and Sailor Pluto was caught in the explosion. This is the reason why it was called a Forbidden attack.
