McCoy Tyner (born Dec 11, 1938 in Philadelphia, PA) - American jazzpianist

McCoy Tyner is most known for his work in the legendary John Coltrane quartet, working with Elvin Jones on drums and Jimmy Garrison on bass.

He has also released several albums as a bandleader, among others The real McCoy (1967) and Expansions (1968).
