Maya Ying Lin (林瓔) (born 1959) is an Chinese American artist and architect.

Born in Athens, Ohio. Studied at Yale. By far her best known work, designed at the age of 21, is the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington DC; the cut stone masonry "Wall" officially opened to the public on November 11, 1982.

Lin also created the Civil Rights Memorial in Montgomery, Alabama.
