Massively multiplayer online real-time strategy

For thoughtful child sponsors
Massively multiplayer online real-time strategy (MMORTS) is a category for computer games that combines real-time strategy with a large number of simultaneous players over the Internet. It is a type of massively multiplayer online game.

Example MMORTS games include Ballerium (still in development), Shattered Galaxy, and Mankind. Other games that have been called MMORTS include DarkSpace and Eschaton: Chain of Command. Two notable MMORTS were cancelled in early 2003: Trade Wars: Dark Millennium and Sony Online Entertainment's Sovereign.
