Mario Monti

Mario Monti (also known as Super Mario) was born in Varese, Italy, 19 March 1943. He is married with two children. He hold a degree in economics and management from Bocconi University, Milan and graduate studies at Yale University, USA. From 1999 he is a member of the European Commission responsible for competition where he became famous for starting a anti-monopoly lawsuit against Microsoft.
