Mallaig

Mallaig is a port on the west coast of the Highlands in Scotland. It lies at the terminus of the West Highland railway line, completed in 1901.

The village has grown hugely since the railway arrived, and now ferries sail from the village to Armadale on Skye, Inverie in Knoydart and to Rum, Eigg, Muck and Canna.

Mallaig is also a fishing port and has an aquarium and a heritage centre.
