Soga Machiko (born March 18 1943 in Hachioji City, Tokyo Japan is a Japanese actress. Soga took Jazz Dance lessons for a number of years. Her first roles were mainly radio and voice character roles. She made her debut in NHK’s radio drama “Cho Rin Mura To Kurumi No Ki” (1961). She later gained fame as the first voice actor to portray the loveable ghost “Obake No Q-Taro” (TBS, 1965-1968).

She also did voice work for such anime movies as “Cyborg 009” (1966), and “Ma Ken Liner 0011 – Henshin Seiyou” (1972).

In between occasional acting or voice over work, Soga also has a Fashion Jewelry Line, which she sells via her designer fashion outlet “Stella”.
