Lord Foul

Lord Foul, also called "The Despiser", is the Dark Lord and primary villan of the Thomas Covenant stories by Stephen R. Donaldson. Lord Foul is an immortal being, intent upon destroying the physical universe in order to escape its bondage; his efforts are repeatedly foiled by Donaldson's anti-hero Thomas Covenant.
