London NW3
London NW3 is the London postal district, much of it located on the high plateau overlooking central london, covering the area between Regent's Park, Finchley Road, Golders Green and Hampstead Heath. For many years, the district has been associated with a particular stereotype, not far from the truth, of north London intelligentsia. Particularly around Hampstead, almost synonymous for NW3, visitors will find evidence of this heritage in the plentiful commemorative blue plaques on houses, the eminent gravestones at St John's Church, and the house - now a museum - where John Keats lived before the hilltop district was swallowed up by London.
Localities within NW3 include Hampstead, Belsize Park, Swiss Cottage, parts of the Heath and ChildÃÂÃÂs Hill.
Most of NW3 is within the London Borough of Camden.
London Underground stations in the area are:
- Belsize Park tube station
- Chalk Farm tube station
- Hampstead tube station
