• Badshahi Mosque in Lahore, Pakistan
• Bajrakli mosque in Belgrade, burnt in 2004, after ethnic violence during the Unrest in Kosovo
• Dome of the Rock, or Masjid Al Sakhrah, in Jerusalem
• Faisal Mosque in Islamabad, Pakistan
• Hagia Sophia in Istanbul (was a mosque from 1453 until 1934 and is now a museum)
