Lesbigay

Lesbigay is an uncommon portmanteau word used to refer to lesbians, bisexuals and gay men as a collective group. More commonly, an acronym such as "LBG", "GLB" or "LGB" is used instead. The acronym "LGBT" or "GLBT" also includes transgendered people.

Usage of the word is controversial among the people to which it refers; other terms such as "gay community" or even the once-derogatory "queer" have become more generally accepted than "lesbigay."
