King Diamond

King Diamond (as Kim Bendix Petersen) was born on June 14, 1956 in Denmark. In 1980 he formed Mercyful Fate a black metal group that to a large extent pioneered the genre. In 1985 Mercyful Fate split and King went on a solo career.
