Katazome

For thoughtful child sponsors
Katazome is a Japanese method of dyeing fabrics using a resist paste applied through a stencil. With this kind of resist dyeing, a rice flour mixture is used, and applied to the cloth that will be painted. Where the mixture sticks, no paint will be able to be applied during the painting or dyeing stages.
