Karolinska Institute
The Karolinska Institute or Karolinska institutet is a medical university in Stockholm, Sweden. It is the largest single institution of higher education in medicine in the world. A committee of the institute appoints the laureates for the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine. The Karolinska Hospital is associated with the university as a teaching hospital.
