Jugemu
Jugemu is one of the most famouse Rakugo in Japan. The story goes like this. Long long ago, a couple got the baby boy. The father of the little boy couldn't think of a good name. She the father went to the temple, and asked the chief priest(住職jushoku) to think of a auspicious names. So the nice priest thought of a name Jugemu( 寿限無). Father thought Jugemu is good, but he wanted more good names. So the priest gave the name Gokounosurikire ( 五劫のすり切れ) which means very very long time. And so on. At last, the priest gave the name Cho-kyuumeino cho-suke(長久命の長助) which means the baby will live long and help out the parents. The father went back home and looked at the paper that the priest wrote down all the names he thought of. Well, the father couldn't decide. He thought every name of it was great, so finally decided to put all the names on the paper to his little baby boy.
Now, the baby boy's name is "Jugemu-jugemu gokounosurikire kaijarisuigyo-no suigyoumatu ungyoumatu fuuraimatu kuunerutokoroni-sumutokoro yaburakoujino-burakouji paipopaipo-paiponoshuringan-shuringanno-gurindaino ponpokopino-ponpokonano-choukyuumeino-chousuke" which is very very long.
So every time people try to call his name, they have to make sure they say the whole entire name. That is Japanese sense of humor.
P.S. It is very popular among Japanese little kids now a days.
