Jaguar XK8

The Jaguar XK8 began production in 1996 (Model Year 1997) and was the first 8 cylinder vehicle produced by Jaguar. The XK8 is available in either a coupe or convertible form and with either a supercharged (390 hp) or naturally aspirated (290 hp) engine. The supercharged varient is know as the XKR. While the vehicle is a capable performer and its looks turn many heads, the powerplant is limited to 155 mph due to an computer governor. The XK8 heralded a change in direction for the company, resulting in the S-Type and X-Type
