Ishikawa prefecture (Also spelled Ishigawa) (Japanese: 石川県; Hepburn: Ishikawa-ken) is located in the Chubu region on Honshu island, Japan. The capital is Kanazawa.

The city's name is spelled Isikawa in the Nippon-shiki, Kunrei, and JSL romanization systems.
