Hypospray

The hypospray is a fictional medical device, similar to a safer syringe, first seen in the Star Trek universe. Apparently developed in the 24th century (as it is absent in the and Enterprise), many people, such as Dr. Crusher in and the EMH in , are seen to use it.

The hypospray has crossed the barrier of being science fiction to being an actuality. A device similar to the hypospray has been invented and is currently being used in the medical world.
