Henry Morgenthau, Jr.
Henry Morgenthau, Jr. (May 11, 1891 - February 6, 1967) was the son of diplomat Henry Morgenthau, and was Secretary of the Treasury of the United States (1934-1945). Henry Morgenthau, Jr. served during the New Deal and World War II and was one of the key individuals in revitalizing the American economy after the Great Depression.See also: Morgenthau plan.
