Hanyū (Hepburn) (Japanese: 羽生市; -shi) is a city located in Saitama, Japan. The city's name is sometimes romanized as Hanyû (Nippon-shiki/Kunrei) or Hanyuu (JSL).

As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 57,292 and the density of 978.51 persons per km². The total area is 58.55 km².

The city was founded on September 1, 1954.
