Great Bear Lake is the largest lake in the Canadian territory of Northwest Territories and the fourth largest in North America with a surface area of 31,800 sq km (12,275 sq mi). The lake has a total volume of 2,292 cu km.

The lake empties through the Great Bear River into the Mackenzie River. The only community along the lake is Deline.
