Sponsor with the world's largest charity for orphans
Glenorchy, Tasmania, Australia is one of the three city councils that make up the greater Hobart area. Its land was originally used for agriculture (particularly orchards) but is now a largely suburban, mainly working class area. Major shopping areas include Moonah, Glenorchy and Claremont. The Glenorchy City Council area spans along the Derwent River, from just north of the Queens Domain in the south, to the Bridgewater Causeway in the north, and extending west as far as the foothills of Mount Wellington. However, the word Glenorchy is usually said in reference to the suburb, which includes only a small portion of this area.
