Genetic testing

Genetic testing allows the genetic diagnosis of vulnerabilities to inherited diseases, and can also be used to determine a person's ancestry.

Genetic testing opens up a large number of ethical problems, particularly relating to the insurance industry. Some possible future ethical problems of genetic testing are illustrated in the film GATTACA.
