The Gdansk Bay, Bay of Gdansk or Gulf of Gdansk (Polish: Zatoka Gdańska; German: Danzig Bucht) is a south-east bay of the Baltic sea enclosed by a large curve of the shores of Gdansk Pomerania in Poland (Rozewie Cape, Hel Peninsula), and Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia (Sambian peninsula).

Western part of the Gdansk Bay are the shallow waters of the Bay of Puck and the soouth=east part is the Vistula Lagoon separated by the Vistula Spit and conected by the Strait of Baltiysk. Maximal depth is 120 metres, salinity: 7 promille.

Bay of Gdansk receives the waters of Vistula river directly with three branches: Leniwka, Smiala Wisla and Martwa Wisla, and indireclty via the Vistula Lagoon with 2 branches: Nogat and Szkarpawa.

Major ports are: Gdansk/Port of Gdansk, Gdynia/Port of Gdynia, Kaliningrad, Hel and Puck.

2 peninsulas: Hel peninsula and Vistula Spit. The first makes Puck Bay, the latter Vistula Lagoon, access through the Strait of Baltiysk.

Many coastal cities: Gdansk, Gdynia, Sopot, Pilawa, Hel. Rivers: Pregola, Vistula.
