The Gateway of India is one of the turistic atractions of Mumbay (India), located in the South tip of the city, near the port. The Gateway is a monumental arch built 26 meters high, made in yellow sandstone, according to 16th century Gujarat architectonical style. It was constructed in 1927 to comemorate king George V of England's visit to the city in 1911.
