Gabapentin (Trade Name Neurontin) is an anti seizure medication prescribed to patients suffering from Epilepsy. It is also used in the treatement of Bipolar Disorder.

It's off-label use has been in the treatement of anxiety disorders such as Social anxiety disorder and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder , OCD

Gabapentin is known to act on the neurotransmitter GABA.
