Funabashi (Hepburn) (Japanese: 船橋市; -shi) is a city located in Chiba, Japan. The city's name is sometimes romanized as Hunabasi (Nippon-shiki/Kunrei/JSL).
As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 563,173 and the density of 6,569.91 persons per km². The total area is 85.72 km².
