Fred Gallagher
Fred Gallagher is a comic artist, or manga-ka, as many call him. He refuses to to accept the title of manga-ka, however, claiming that he is not skilled enough to warrant such a title. Still, many of his fans consider him such an artist. He is best known as the author and artist of MegaTokyo.A Caucasian American by birth, Gallagher has neverless traveled to Japan several times, and is fluent in Japanese.
Though often praised for his artwork and storylines, he has also been criticized for allegedly having a rather lax work ethic and an an unreliable update schedule. His critics argue that this is unacceptable, given that the comic is Gallagher's only formal job.
