Flemish is the collective term used for the Dutch dialects spoken in Belgium. While not a separate language, there are some distinct differences in vocabulary and pronunciation, similar to that between British and American English. The term is usually used to distinguish the Dutch spoken in Flanders from that of the Netherlands.
