The state flag of Western Australia.

The flag is based on the Blue Ensign design, commonly used for British colonies (and retained by many Australian states). The bird in the yellow disk is the Black Swan, Western Australia's official state bird. This flag was adopted in 1953, although the previous flag (adopted in 1870) was identical except that the swan was facing the opposite direction.
