Flag Day

In the United States, Flag Day is celebrated on June 14. It commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States by resolution of the Second Continental Congress on June 14, 1777.

Flag Day is not an official holiday, in the sense that unless it falls on a weekend, it is a regular work day and government offices are open.
