Expedia
Expedia, Inc. is an internet travel agency. Based in Bellevue, Washington, it is a subsidiary of IAC/InterActiveCorp. It sells airline tickets, hotel reservations, and car rentals via the World Wide Web.Founded as a division of Microsoft in 1994, Expedia was spun off in 1999, and was purchased by USA Networks in 2001. (USA changed its name to IAC/InterActiveCorp in 2003.)
Its site also contains a world atlas, for North America and Europe to street level.
